It is of great demonstration significance for leading the construction of fully automated container terminals with "low cost, short cycle and fast effect".
The project has planned three business scenarios that fit the port business, including the remote control of port machinery, the remote driving of the truck, the precise positioning of the shore bridge and the container, and realized the precise driving route of the heavy truck (the wheel and the driving line maintain a distance of 20cm) and the precise parking and the precise positioning and transportation of the container by the crane, which greatly saved the cost of the terminal transformation. At the same time, due to the closed automated terminal design with controllable whole process, the stacking density is higher, and the land utilization rate of the port is higher. For the seventh time, Rizhao Port broke the record of the world’s first automated terminal loading and unloading efficiency maintained by itself.
The 5G "ultra-long-distance" remote intelligent driving technology in Rizhao Port has good handling and safety. It can return 7-way 1080p high-resolution video in real time, covering the driving perspective of the vehicle and the blind spot of the vehicle. It includes an automatic protection mechanism under abnormal network conditions, ensuring the safety of operations and making remote intelligent driving possible. This application accelerates the automation and intelligent process of Rizhao Port, improves the efficiency of terminal operations, and contributes telecommunications power to accelerate the construction of a world-class marine port.
